It is my pleasure to welcome you to Citizens Liberation Advocacy Initiative (CLAI). Whether you are joining us as a volunteer, a partner, a supporter, or a citizen eager to learn more about your role in our democracy, you are warmly welcome. Your interest reflects a shared hope for a Nigeria where citizens are informed, their voices are respected, and their participation helps shape a better future.
At CLAI, we believe that democracy draws its strength from the people. Every eligible citizen deserves to understand the electoral process, exercise their rights with confidence, and recognize the value of their vote. Our purpose is to bring voter education and civic enlightenment closer to communities across Nigeria’s 36 states, the Federal Capital Territory, and all 774 Local Government Areas.
Our mission goes beyond encouraging citizens to turn out on election day. We seek to build a lasting culture of civic responsibility—one in which people ask questions, make informed choices, engage peacefully, and hold their leaders accountable. We also stand as a rallying point for voters, championing the rights and interests of the electorate while addressing the discouragement and apathy that can weaken public participation.
To our young people, I extend a special welcome. Your ideas, energy, and aspirations are essential to Nigeria’s future. I encourage you to learn about the democratic process, participate thoughtfully, and inspire others through your example. CLAI is committed to creating opportunities for you to engage, contribute, and develop the confidence to take your place in our nation’s civic life.
Through our awareness campaigns, conferences, summits, seminars, and public lectures, we aim to create spaces where learning leads to meaningful action. We welcome constructive dialogue and collaboration with individuals, communities, and organizations that share our commitment to an informed and active electorate. Every contribution—whether time, knowledge, resources, or encouragement—can help us reach another citizen and strengthen another community.
As National President, I invite you to become part of this shared responsibility. Learn with us, volunteer with us, support our outreach, and carry the message of informed participation into your homes and communities. Together, we can help more Nigerians understand that their voices matter and that their involvement has a place in shaping the country we all call home.
